      Sorry to miscommunicate - I did mean that the male loneliness epidemic is very much real. It’s just not caused by women. Although Andrew Tate types like to blame women, because it discourages men from interacting with women.

          It’s primarily a shitpost community, so I wouldn’t take anything here as meant genuinely. Lemmy isn’t really like that the way other online spaces tend to be.

          Femcelmemes is a vibe, not a cut-and-dry identity. Mostly a sapphic, self-deprecating vibe and nobody is really excluded.

              If you don’t mind my (male) perspective, I chuckled at this with the same brain that chuckles at dark humour and sarcastic self-deprecation…

              My interpretation was that it’s poking fun at correlation by implying causation, rather than celebrating causation (much like the other commenter said)
