I had the Rift CV1 and I clicked the Monado link at your link and I don’t see a clear step by step instructions to combine them and play games.
looks like it’s supported through OpenHMD which has only experimental support for Rift CV1, and I couldn’t get it to work when I tried it in 2022. So I think I’ll just wait for Steam Frame or maybe dealhunt for a used Valve Index.
yeah, I can play VR with all this cleaned up room! oh but I have only a choice between

Meta headsets can work pretty well on Linux with Wivrn. Have a look at https://lvra.gitlab.io/.
